Betsy Coe, PhD, is executive director of the Houston Montessori Center and principal of School of the Woods in Houston, TX, and a former president of the AMS Board of Directors. She was the AMS 2008 Living Legacy and is a recipient of the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education’s Wisdom of the Elders Award (2015).
